2010 Reservation Information

• A 50% deposit of total charges is required with a Visa or MasterCard number.  Sorry, we do not take any other credit cards or checks.

• Cancellations must be made 72 hours before date of reservation;  if less than 72 hours, your deposit will be forfeited. Sorry, bad weather (other than those pesky hurricanes)  not a factor for cancellation!  "No Shows" and shortened reservations will be treated same as a less than 72 hour cancellation notice. There is a $25 cancellation fee no matter what!

• We're not your typical B&B in that you are not in our home! You have your own room with private entrances either from the back deck off the parking lot or from the covered front porch.   Our layout is like an ol-timey motel with rooms all on one level  No staircases to climb and you are steps from your parked car. 

• We have ten rooms - each is individually decorated with comfortable, colorful and Martha Stewart approved decor!  The floors are the original heart pine. Seven rooms have 1 queen size bed; two have 1 queen and 1 twin bed and one has 2 twin beds. All rooms have private bath, cable TV, radio, telephone, wireless and that old fashioned VCR.

• Don't let the address scare you! We may be located on a state road (and about a three minute drive from Beaufort's busy waterfront) but our location and two acres of land is perfect to enjoy lounging in our hammock and deck chairs, wandering in our gardens, playing croquet, parking your boat worry-free; playing with your dog and kids or just enjoying quiet in your private room. 

• Individually controlled A/C and heat with ceiling fans keeps the rooms cool in the summer and cozy warm in the winter.

• Each room has a small kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, under-counter refrigerator. Four rooms have a two-burner stove top. All rooms have plates, cups, mugs - everything you need and then some!

• We love having guests use our decks to lounge, cook their catch on the grills, wander in the gardens or join us for our evening cribbage or dominos games.

• As is required when operating a B&B in Beaufort, we live here so we can be of service to you at any time!

• Weekly vacation rates available - ask us for details. "Off Season" rates available too!

• Third person in the rooms with the additional bed/pets $15 each additional each night

• 10% discount for staying four nights (high and mid-season only!) 

• Ask us about our group rate discount and off-season weekly.

• Pet owners will assume all responsibility should any damage occur to the room. Remember this is your pets vacation too so bring his bedding, toys, leash, food, pooper-scooper and water bowl. We ask that your pet not be left alone in the room (unless he/she is in a crate) and please don't let your pet go into any other room but yours.

• We have 3 rooms just for pets so reserve early.

• Homemade muffins & bagels are delivered to your room in the morning. Juices, fruit, bottled water, yogurt are put in your refrigerator for your enjoyment.

• Check-in time is between 3 pm and 6 pm or by special arrangement. We are flexible!

• Check out is requested by 11 am.

• Please remember...this is a smoke free facility! (Smoking outside is OK)

• Prices subject to change. Two-night minimum may be required for special weekends - especially wedding weekends.

• If you are bringing your boat down, please let us know so we can make room for it.

• Don't forget to ask us about renting our party pavilion. It's a great big post and beam barn-type building  located in our back yard next to the corn field. It's the perfect spot for any large (or small) group event. We offer group rates on the rooms if you reserve all ten rooms and the Pavilion.

• Forget something? Just ask, we probably have it - shampoo, hair dryer, beach chairs, towels, bikes...

• Ask about our hot dog cart too!  Terry is the proud owner of a Sabrett hot dog cart that he sets up on Middle Lane in downtown Beaufort most sunny summer days between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. . Look for him in front of the Back Street Pub and Harbor Specialties. A Sabrett dog is all-beef and it's the best you can have. Try one with Al's Special Southern Piedmont Slaw for a real taste treat sensation! Bet you can't eat just one!!  For a fast, fun meal, have a dog from "Poor House Dawgs"
